SAVE GAME
For new files you will be asked to enter a name for your game. To update an existing file, select the name of the file you wish to overwrite. Once you’ve input your file name press the X button twice to save. Do not remove your memory card. Wait for the "successful save" message.
If your memory card is full of non-NHL Face Off ’99 files, you will be asked if you want to delete some files to make more room. If you do, press the X button and you will be sent directly to the DELETE FILES screen.
LOAD GAME
From the MAIN MENU go to MEMORY CARD, then go to LOAD GAME. Toggle left or right to select memory card 1 or 2. Scroll down to select the saved file you want to load and press the X button. When you see the "successful load" message press the Triangle button twice to return to the MAIN MENU, go to SELECT GAME, go to SEASON or PLAYOFFS (whichever type game you’ve loaded) and then go to CONTINUE.
If you’re in the middle of an unsaved game, and you attempt to load another game, you will be asked, "Would you like to save your current game?" If you wish to save, press the X button, if not press the Triangle button.

From the MAIN MENU go to MEMORY CARD, then go to SAVE RECORDS. Toggle left or right to select memory card 1 or 2 and press X to save records. If records are already saved to your chosen memory card, you may overwrite by pressing X twice.
