Contender

Contender may be saved only in Main Event mode, after a fight. You may not save between rounds. Saved games may be used in either Main Event or Exhibition.

Eight games may be saved in one block of memory. However, only one block per memory card may be used to save games! If you want to use another block for more boxers, you must use another memory card.

Superior play in Main Event mode will unlock boxers for the Exhibition mode. The unlocked boxers will be saved in the same block of memory as the Main Event save.

You may use the boxers from the Main Event saves as well as the unlocked boxers. When you load the Main Event character, and you will notice that the corner changes from "Blue" to "Red."
