Crash Team Racing

(You can save all your game data on one block of memory with the exception of Time Trial Ghosts. Two blocks of memory is required for each Ghost.)

Saving a game in Adventure Mode

You can save your game at any time by accessing one of the five save points. The save points are represented by a green dot on your map in the lower right hand corner. Drive up to the save screen and stop. A window will appear giving you the options to Save, Load, Delete and Exit. Highlight "Save" and press "X". Select a slot to save your game to and press "X".

Saving a High Score in a Relic Race or Time Trial

When you complete a Relic Race or Time Trial faster than one of the previously fastest five times you'll be asked if you would like to save your record. Enter your name, highlight "Save High Score" and press "X" to confirm.

Saving your Ghost in a Time Trial

(Each Ghost requires 2 blocks of memory available on your memory card.)

After a Time Trial race you will see a window with 5 different options: Retry, Change Level, Change Character, Save Ghost, and Quit. Choose "Save Ghost" and press "X". Choose a slot to save your ghost to and press "X".

Loading your Ghost for a Time Trial

Highlight "Time Trial" from the main menu and press "X". If you have a ghost saved on your memory card, under the track name you will see the words "Ghost Data Available". Highlight this track and press "X". Choose which ghost data you would like to load and press "X" to race against your ghost.

Loading a Game

On the Main Menu highlight "Adventure" and press "X". Highlight "Load" and press "X". Highlight the saved game you would like to save and press "X". You can also load your game by following these same instructions at a save screen in adventure mode.

Loading Time Trial and Arcade progress, and Records

Insert the memory card into memory card slot one immediately after you turn the power of your PlayStation® on and this information will automatically be loaded from your memory card.
