SAVING:

In order to save your game during Crash, you’ll have to do one of three things:

• Collect three Tawna icons, survive the Tawna bonus round, and jump on the transport pedestal.

• Receive a Gem after you finish a level, perfectly... OR...

• Collect three Cortex tokens, survive the bonus round and receive the Key.

If you are able to accomplish any of these three requirements, you’ll be given three options. You’ll be able to choose which slot to save your game into on your memory card, or overwrite a previously saved Crash game. If you do not have a memory card, you’ll be able to obtain a password. The password will work exactly like a saved game on a memory card.

Note: Neither the memory card nor a password will save how many lives you have collected. After you load up a saved game, you’ll start off with 4 lives like you would if you had started a new game.

LOADING:

To load a saved game, you’ll have the option to do so at the title screen. You can choose to either load a game off of the memory card or type in a password from a previous game.

• At the Load Screen, use your D-pad to scroll through the different blocks on your memory card. When you’ve decided which block you want to restore (the stats for the saved game you highlight will be shown on the right hand side of the screen), press the "X" button and you’ll automatically be taken to the last level that you had saved at.

• At the password screen, type in your password using the X, Circle, Square, and Triangle buttons. When you are done with entering in your password, confirm your choice and you’ll automatically be placed back at the last level you saved at.
