ATV Offroad Fury
Memory Card Requirements
322 kilobytes of memory are needed to save game data. It is not possible to save more than one game to a single PlayStation®2 Memory Card (8MB). However, one game can contain up to six separate Pro-Careers.
Saving Progress in Pro-Career mode
At the end of a Pro Career race you will be given the option to save your game anytime one or more of the following things happen:
• you came in 1st or 2nd place in the last race and are about to move on to the next track
• you set a new record for the fastest lap time
• you set a new record for the longest jump
If you wish to save, press the X button
Manual Saving
Before you can save the game manually, you must return to the main menu between races.
1. After winning a race in Pro-Career, press the Triangle button
twice
to exit the Current Standings screen and go to the Main Menu.
2. On the Main Menu, highlight "Options" and then press the X button.
3. On the Options menu, highlight "Save/Load Game Data" and the press the X button.
4. When you are prompted to, press the Circle button to save your game data. If there is already ATV Offroad Fury saved game data on the PlayStation 2 Memory Card (8MB) that is in Slot 1, you will see the message, "Any ATV Offroad Fury Data on this Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) will be lost. Do you wish to continue?" This is asking if you want to overwrite your saved data. If you want to update your saved game, press the X button. Otherwise, press the Triangle button.
Auto Loading
When playing ATV Offroad Fury, you will automatically be given the option to load a saved game if there is saved game data on the Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) that is inserted in slot 1 when you turn the PlayStation®2 on. Simply press the X button when you see the screen that asks if you "wish to load the saved data off the inserted Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) in Memory Card Slot 1?"
Manual Loading
1. On the Main Menu, highlight "Options" and then press the X button.
2. On the Options menu, highlight "Save/Load Game Data" and the press the X button.
3. When you are prompted to, press the Circle button to load the game data that's on Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) that is in Slot 1. You will be warned that "any unsaved data will be lost" if you load. To load anyway, press the X button. Otherwise, press the Triangle button.
