Timothy Bender is Sony Computer Entertainment America's senior vice president of sales and reports to President and CEO Jack Tretton. Bender brings more than two decades of industry experience as well as strategic leadership in U.S. and global sales and marketing expertise to the company. In his role at SCEA he oversees strategic sales and merchandising initiatives across all PlayStation platforms in North America including the PlayStation®3, PlayStation®Portable, PlayStation®2 and the PlayStation®Network.

Prior to joining Sony Computer Entertainment America, Bender served as executive vice president of sales for Livescribe Inc., creators of the Pulse™ smartpen where he was responsible for driving the company's global sales and expanding into new international markets. Before his time at Livescribe, Bender served as president of the global consumer group at LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc., where his leadership and guidance helped transform a $16 million educational company into a $643 million consumer brand.

Bender received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
