If you liked yesterday’s roundup of third party game’s just wait until you see the lineup of A-class titles I got my hands on today.

The demo for Devil May Cry™ 4 (Capcom®) some of the biggest crowds at E3 this year. The game's star, as you may have heard, isn't devil-boy Dante, but an all new character named Nero. Instead of Dante's handguns–nicknamed Ebony and Ivory–Nero wields a double-barrelled pistol known as the Blue Rose. His sword—named the Red Queen—features a motorcycle throttle in the handle which Nero can "rev up" to cause even more damage to enemies. If you thought the action in Devil May Cry™ 3 was over the top, trust me, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Head-scratching puzzles and white-knuckle action are the two key ingredients of Dark Sector™ (D3 Publisher®). This third-person action game features one of the most unique weapons to ever appear in a video game: a boomerang made of knives known as the Glaive. The Glaive not only slices through enemies like a hot knife through butter, it also can be used to as a light source for the game’s pitch-black areas. One look at the game’s hyper-detailed graphics, and it’s clear that Dark Sector’s developer Digital Extremes knows its way around the PS3™ system’s hardware.

Here’s a list of ingredients for the latest installment in the Burnout series: one part blue skies, two parts high speeds, and a big heaping does of high-definition, wince-inducing crashes that will make you say, “That’s got to hurt!” Burnout Paradise™ (EA Games) not only features nearly 30 square miles of a virtual city, it also has one of the most seamless online experiences I’ve ever seen. Translation: It’s easier than ever to jump into—and out of—online races. And the all new “Showtime” mode makes crashes longer, wilder, and more spectacular than ever before.

Break out the orange light guns, because the latest chapter in the Time Crisis™ seriesthis will be number fouris coming to the PLAYSTATION®3. The big news: the light guns now feature a pair of special sensors that you place on top of your television. That means that the guns are not only compatible with any TV, but they can also sense forward and backward motion. In addition to the traditional cover-and-pop-out gameplay that the series is famous for, Time Crisis™ 4 also features an all new first-person mode. For the moment, Namco® is keeping the games storyline under wraps, but for the moment, Time Crisis™ and the PS3™ seem to be a match made in heaven.
