Now, the oddball series is primed to conquer a new platform. Today Namco Bandai Games America, the US publishing arm of the newly formed Japanese toy-game giant Namco Bandai, announced that Me and My Katamari has gone gold for the PSP. Set for release later this month, the game is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $39.99.
Me and My Katamari continues the adventures of the Prince of All Cosmos, a cartoonish protagonist whose head resembles a pastel-painted subwoofer. Like previous installments, the game will feature the Prince solving some sort of intergalactic crisis by rolling an assortment of everyday objects into an ever-expanding, snowball-like mass.
