Kingdom Hearts II Hits 2.5 Million

Series approaches 10 million mark in worldwide sales.

Square Enix announced today that total shipments for Kingdom Hearts II in Japan and North America have topped the 2.5 million mark. This includes 1.2 million for Japan since 12/22 and 1.3 million shipped to North America since 3/28.

With this impressive figure included, the Kingdom Hearts series has now reached 8.5 million units in worldwide shipments. With the European release of KHII, Square Enix expects the series to top the 10 million mark.
