Gundam Launching with PS3

Japan and America get first confirmed launch titles.

While the recent news of Armored Core's December Japanese release was somewhat disappointing, Bandai Namco has stepped in to give the PS3's launch a mech game of a different flavor. The company announced today that Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight will see Japanese release on 11/11, simultaneous with the PS3 hardware. This makes the Bandai Namco title the first confirmed PS3 launch game. In America, where the game is known as Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, a specific release date has yet to be given but Namco Bandai has confirmed it for 2006 -- keeping in the PS3 launch window.
