Play Games

It�s easy to play games anywhere with your PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system.


To start a game:

  1. Select Game Btn (Game) from the home menu.
  2. Insert a Memory Stick Duo™ into the PSP® so that you can save game data.
  3. Insert a UMD™ (Universal Media Disc) game disc. The UMD™ game icon will appear.
  4. Select the UMD Btn (UMD™) and press X Btn
  5. The game will begin.

    Note: If there is already a game UMD� in the PSP� system when you turn it on, the game will start automatically.

To quit a game:

  1. Press the home button while playing a game.
  2. The message �Do you want to quit the game?� will appear.
  3. Select Yes and press X Btn
  4. The game will end and the home menu will appear.

    Note: If you need to stop playing the game for a short time, instead of quitting the game, pause it with Sleep Mode, see Using Sleep and Hold Modes
