Using a Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation2)

  1. Insert the card securely into memory card slot 1.
  2. Do NOT put any games or CDs in your PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.
  3. Turn on the system.
  4. Choose Browser from the Main Menu and press X Btn.
  5. Use the directional buttons to highlight the memory card, then press X Btn.
  6. You should see the various blocks of data saved onto your memory card (if any).

    NOTE: Do not remove the memory card or controllers, reset or turn off the system, or open the disc cover while the PlayStation®2 is accessing information. Doing so can corrupt data on the card.

  1. Insert the card securely into memory card slot 1.
  2. Do NOT put any games or CDs in your PlayStation®2 system.
  3. Turn on the system.
  4. Choose Browser from the Main Menu and press X Btn.
  5. Use the directional buttons to highlight the memory card, then press X Btn.
  6. Highlight a file, select Delete, then press X Btn.

    NOTE: If you are deleting a file you know is corrupted, you might need to try to delete it multiple times before it is deleted from your Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2). It is possible that some corrupted files cannot be deleted at all.

  1. Insert both memory cards into your PlayStation®2 game system.
  2. Do NOT put any games or CDs in your PlayStation®2 system.
  3. Turn on the system.
  4. Choose Browser from the Main Menu and press X Btn.
  5. Use the directional buttons to highlight the memory card containing the data you want to copy, then press X Btn.
  6. Highlight the file you want to copy, select Copy, then press X Btn.
  7. Highlight the memory card you want to copy to and press X Btn.
  8. Highlight Yes and press X Btn.

    NOTE: Do not remove the memory cards or controllers, reset or turn off the system, or open the disc cover while the PlayStation®2 is accessing information. Doing so can corrupt data on the cards.
