Download Instructions Using Your PC

You can download the demo using a PC.

Required Items

  • PSP® system
    • System software version 2.80 or later is required.
    • To check the version on your system, select [System Settings] under [Settings] from the home menu, and then select [System Information]. The version number is displayed in the System Software field.
    • If your system is using version 2.71 or earlier, update your system software prior to downloading the demo.

      • About the PSP® System Software Updates
  • Memory Stick Duo™ media with at least 18 MB of free space
  • A PC with Internet access
  • One of the following:
    • A commercially available USB A / Mini-B (5 pin) cable
    • A commerically available Memory Stick USB Reader/Writer *
    • A PC equipped with a Memory Stick slot*

      * If the slot on the device can handle only standard-size Memory Stick™ media, a Memory Stick Duo Adaptor (model number MSAC-M2; a Sony product sold seperately) is required.

Download Procedure

  1. Download the demo by clicking the "Download Now" button and save the WTS06Demo.zip file to your desktop.
  2. Unzip the file and extract the folder named "UCUS98631" to your desktop.
  3. Prepare to save the directory file data on Memory Stick Duo™ media using one of the following methods:
    • Connect the PSP® system to the PC using a commercially available USB A / Mini-B (5 pin) cable and set your PSP® to USB Connection mode.
    • Connect a commercially available Memory Stick USB Reader/Writer to the PC
    • Use the Memory Stick slot on the PC
  4. Using your PC, locate or create a folder named "PSP" on the Memory Stick Duo™ media. Within the "PSP" folder, locate or create a folder named "GAME". (Folder names must be in all uppercase letters.)
  5. Drag and drop the folder named "UCUS98631" from your desktop to the "GAME" folder.

NOTICE

You must save the downloaded data as noted in these instructions. If you do not save in the correct location and with the given filename, the system will not recognize the data.

Play the Demo

  1. Insert the Memory Stick Duo™ media in the PSP® system.
  2. Browse to the [GAME] icon from the PSP® system's XMB™ (XrossMediaBar), select the [Memory Stick™] icon, and then launch the World Tour Soccer 06 Demo by pressing the X button.
